Jeff Schultz
I am a passionate life-long skier and former athlete with the Flagstaff Ski Club. I have been a coach for the team for the past 13 years and I am currently the head alpine race coach. I am a level 300 certified coach with US Ski and Snowboard (highest level available) and I am pursuing a level 100 certification with the International FreeSki Association to help our program expand into big mountain / freeride competition. I have two sons who both love ski racing and I consider my greatest coaching accomplishment to be the fact that they still enjoy skiing with me. My goal as a coach is to instill a love of skiing and to help all of our athletes become their best versions of themselves. I truly believe that skiing and ski racing is a lifelong sport that teaches life skills that are invaluable. When I am not skiing and coaching I also enjoy mountain biking, rock climbing, wood working and working as a practicing emergency physician.
